The Little Mo tournament
is named after tennis great Maureen Connolly Brinker (www.mcbtennis.org).
Maureen Connolly Brinker was the first woman to win the Grand Slam at the
young age of 18 years. She had such a relentless passion for the game that
she set up a foundation that helps girls and boy’s ages 8 to 11 develop the
same competitive sprit and love for tennis. |

Ellen said the best part
of the tournament was hanging out with old friends from the Pacific
Northwest (moved here from Seattle 2 yrs ago) and new friends from all over
the country! Ellen is a 6th grader at Webb Bridge Middle School who enjoys
playing on the Parks and Recreation soccer team and attending Fight Club at
Lifetime Fitness.
