The Georgia/Florida Jr. Team
Tennis Challenge is an annual event founded in 1998 by the
late Janet Louer of USTA Georgia and Andy McFarland of USTA
Florida. Qualifying teams from the Georgia State
Championships join together as one team and head to Florida
each year for this exciting tournament. The best from
Georgia team up to play against the best from Florida in the
ultimate
team tennis challenge
Our twenty Georgia teams
travelled to Jacksonville, FL, for this event held at the
University of North Florida and Florida Community College of
Jacksonville campuses, October 20-21st. After a
great weekend of tough competition and team camaraderie USTA
Florida became the victors with a total game score of
Florida 1,329 over Georgia 1,183.
USTA Georgia would like to
